Our First Styled Photoshoot
Working alongside and supporting passionate and creative local suppliers is one of the things we strive to do here at Stemster House. So when we were asked to host a styled photoshoot we jumped at the opportunity!
Joining forces with North Coast Igloos, John Glen - Caithness Celebrant, Ashley Ross - Make up artist, Jodie Williamson from Buds n’ Blooms and the super talented Tracey Inkston Photography we set out to put together the ultimate Boho Wedding. After months in the planning the weekend had finally arrived and we started to assemble our vision. What an amazing atmosphere there was from the moment the North Coast Igloos team arrived, very early on Friday morning.
With our team of helpers we all worked together to transform all the spaces into our idyllic Boho dream.
North Coast igloos set up 4 of their gorgeous bell tents showing exactly how versatile they are, bar area, cosy chill out area, honeymoon suite - they have it all covered! Their signature igloo was set up as the perfect entertainment area for all the junior wedding guests filled of special white and grey wedding soft play equipment. Not forgetting their specialist adult size white bouncy castle perfect for those super fun group shots!
Along with the talented Jodie, from Buds n Blooms, the Stemster House team transformed our marquee into the ultimate boho reception space, rustic chic chandeliers, floral hoops and rustic gin themed table centres.
On came the day of the photoshoot, the sun was shining and everyone was running on pure excitement.
Ashely Ross worked her magic on our beautiful brides not only doing her signature make up looks but also beautiful hair styling incorporating floral hair accessories designed and made by our florist Jodie.
Tracey Inkson is a photographic creative genius and made the day so relaxed which was quite a feat with so many shots to fit in!
Our staged wedding was so much fun, with our crowd bringing just the right amount of rowdy to the party, John Glenn had us all in fits of laughter during the ‘ceremony’ a true reflection of his fun and can do attitude with everything he does we cant wait to witness him conducting the first real wedding ceremony here next summer.
With fire pits, barbeques and bouncy castle back flips it was an absolute privilege to work alongside such an enthusiastic creative group and we are very much look forward to working together in the future.
